Day 10: Back to kunming DownTown

Day 10 : 5th July 2011

By late afternoon, we hopped into a taxi and went back to Kunming downtown. We approached the pedestrian mall from another end and was encountered by a row of blind masseurs offering their service to the public.

Ravee looked for books to buy - but they were all in Chinese. We checked out the Parkson Shopping Complex - this Malaysian company has really made it big in China - those who have invested in the Parkson shares on KLSE years ago would have reaped the benefits now and should perhaps consider selling out now that China is slowing down. Pakdokter's observation of the things sold in Parkson China? - save your money and spend it at the Parkson in KLCC. Pakdokter can only compare things that are comparable - labels pakdokter were familiar with and pakdokter roughly knew the cost at KLCC. Things were more expensive in China.....

We decided to go to an Italian Restaurant for dinner. We have had enough of 'oily and spicy' Yunnan dishes.
