Buddhism is the main religion of this region. Some other ( and older) religions here share similarities to the Buddhist practices. At another square in the old town pakdokter came a cross, there was a 'spinning wheel' - devotees would encircle the wheel many times as a religious ritual. Pakdokter could not help but reflect on how most religions have similar practices in their religious rituals.....
