As we had paid for the ticket for the cable car ride up to the top of the Cangshan Mountain - Maggie, our guide called up her office and requested permission for her to use the ticket money to pay for our lunch. Upon receiving the approval - she took us back to the restaurant we dined last night and ordered several dishes for our lunch. It was indeed an unexpected gesture on the part of Maggie - after all it was our decision to forgo the cabel car ride as we did not fancy to go up through the cloud-covered mountain top.
