Day 5: The Shangrila Pudacuo National Park...

Day 5: 30th June 2011


The Shangrila Pudacuo National Park is the largest and highest park in China, located at an altitude of 4300 metres above sea level. Within the park is the large lake called Bita Sea, the Shudu Lake, the Militangya high-mountain pasture and the Xiaji Ecological Village of Tibetan culture.



From the entrance - tourists were taken by the park buses to different spots from where one was given the choice of trekking along some treks or to continue visiting the park on regular buses that went around the park. The park integrates the multiplicity of biology, secenery and culture ......




our first stop was at the shore of the Shudu Lake...













being at a high altitude, the temperature was around mid-teens..
