Pakdokter's partner had chosen this destination - Lijiang - to celebrate her birthday as well as our 33rd wedding anniversary. So pakdokter had scoured the net and chosen this hotel among the slightly more luxurious ones available. It is a cluster of old shophouses which have been refurbished into a boutique hotel. At about USD 120 a night - it was quite a good choice. Located at the South Gate of the Old City - the 'interesting' parts of the city were within walking distance.
