We had also asked Ms Beautiful Goose earlier to book us for the famous "Mountain Show" we had heard about before making this trip to Yunnan. Performed in an open-air theatre in this mountain park - the show had 400 actors mostly from the farmers families in the area and 200 horses. The show depicted ( as in previous shows we had seen) the local history, tribal customs and culture etc...
The show was also one of the works of China's most acclaimed movie director, Zhang Yi Mou, and this troupe also made it to the opening of the Beijing Olympics.
Our VIP seat cost us 200 yuan each.
